I have been at my new job for two weeks now, the girls I work with are really nice and constantly have me laughing, they didn't make me feel like the "new girl" which was awesome and very appreciated that's for sure. It seems like a really good health company to work for with awesome doctors and techs, I told Matt that I want to move our primary care over to their group, they have everything under one roof and when I say everything, I mean everything. We are going to the company summer picnic at the Great Escape which is awesome, I've never worked for a company that does something like that for you, so I'm excited a day to ride roller coasters, sign me up.
So August is almost here and that means a very busy month, my brother comes home from deployment, my birthday and my little nephew will be here towards the end of them month. Once again I'm not really excited for my birthday, my parents will be in California and not here, it falls during the week and there isn't really anything I want for my birthday, Matt keeps asking and I honestly have no answer for him. I want my brother home safe, and a healthy nephew that is good enough for me.
Matt has been working two jobs lately trying to get ahead on bills and saving so we can move next summer, I know he hates it some days and I've told him he doesn't have to but he doesn't listen to me. We both have been trying to narrow down where we want to move and all I can come up with is somewhere southern, we are going to Myrtle Beach in September so I'm hoping we can go visit Charleston which is one of the places we have talked about moving to and get a feel for it. The other place we have looked at jobs and apartments is Virginia Beach, Matt has really good friends stationed there and we visited in May and really liked it. But at the same time he has also been talking to the ARMY and has turned his medical records into them, the only thing that could keep him out would be the fact he had juvenile arthritis, we got his medical record from Ohio and sent them over to the recruiter so they can review them with the medical boards, it's something he really wants to do so I'm going to support him all the way. I come from a huge family of people in the military and are friends with marines, soldiers and sailors and I honestly think the military is the best thing for us in the long run, Matt is still young where he could retire by the time he is 44 if he wanted to.
There is so much going on and I don't have enough time to write about it all right now, so until next time..
